In April 1986, after praying and seeking God’s direction, Larry Cox and John Kanyuck set out to provide the finest electrical service in Crawford County. Armed with $10,000, a pocket full of business cards, a coffee can full of wire nuts and a drill motor; they began to write a story that vividly captures the power of the American spirit.

Through integrity and hard work, unmatched knowledge of their trade and a passion for great customer service, Larry and John went from wiring a house in the country (their first job) to building one of the finest and most successful small businesses in the region. Now, since that day in 1986, Cox and Kanyuck Electric serves over 3000 loyal customers.

For John and Larry it was never about the money. Their vision flowed from deep love for their families and a desire to provide for them while doing what they loved close to home. Even though Cox and Kanyuck Electric has grown beyond what they could have imagined and the company has move operations from a renovated dairy barn in the country to where it stands today, the vision has remained the same.
